Blue Ridge Simulation, Inc. - BRS is a leading supplier of high-performance radar simulators for Department of Defense, commercial and international training applications. These devices span from basic weather radar simulators to high-performance Digital Radar Landmass Simulators (DRLMS) for surveillance and fire control radar applications. Customized configurations can be incorporated into larger flight simulators or used stand-alone as radar part task trainers. BRS also supplies other specialized PC-based devices to the simulation community including instructor stations, custom interface systems, aural cue systems, and custom embedded applications. R&A is the creator and developer of the Joint Theater Level Simulation (JTLS) simulation model and system, and has been actively improving the model since its inception in 1983. R&A has competed and won contracts from the U. S. Navy for work at both COMPACFLT, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California. The Company works closely with NATO's C3A and the US DoD Modeling and Simulation Office (DMSO) as well as a growing number of foreign commercial and government clients.
Virtual Space Devices, Inc. - VSD is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan that holds expertise in human locomotion and advanced human-computer interfaces for virtual reality systems. With the development and integration of the world’s first Omni-Directional Treadmill (ODT) in 1996 for the U.S. Army, VSD brought virtual simulation and training into a new realm. Since then, VSD has continued to advance the concepts and devices for advanced human movement within a virtual environment. Since 2003, VSD has been a subcontractor of MTS Systems to construct and field 6 second-generation ODT devices for the Army.
